A Variety Store With A Diversity of Support: A&R Enterprise Ltd.

As we adjust to the reality of a post-COVID Belize and the societal changes happening worldwide, now is the time for us to strengthen our corporate social responsibility mindsets. A&R Enterprise has shown us: No matter the size of your operations, the outcomes are overwhelmingly positive, helping to pave the way for a brighter future in the industry and within our community. And it starts right in our backyards.

That's why we're proud to announce A&R Enterprise Ltd. as a Platinum Sponsor for the 13th Annual Belikin Blue Water Classic!

Being a variety department store, it also means that A&R Enterprise has a slew of opportunities to get involved locally, whether in their home base of Orange Walk District or any outpost locations across the country.

Take Ambergris Caye. Over the years, A&R Enterprise has been a critical player through sponsorship of many initiatives, including the Grand Caribe Annual DeepSea Classic Fishing Tournament, the Annual Holiday Lighted Boat Parade, and Ambergris Caye (RCAC) Chapter Rotary—just to name a few. For example, specializing in  School and Office Supplies allowed A&R to directly support the San Pedro Public Library (SPPL) through a book drive, ultimately donating two full boxes to support the town library with a new stock of books for promoting literacy and encouraging our youth to read more.

Youth involvement isn’t limited to any one district, either. For example, supporting Chaa Creek Eco-Lodge’s week-long annual summer camp scholarship program for Belizean children over the years has meant supporting biodiversity, conservation, and the three ‘Rs’ being environmentalism.

Capt. Aldo Urbina and his crew aboard 'No Worry Bout Nothin' released a double header of Blue Marlin to claim the 1st Place honors at the 3rd Annual Frenchie's Offshore Open in May 2017.

This year for the 13th Annual Belikin Blue Water Classic, we say thank you to A&R Enterprise Ltd., not only for being an avid corporate sponsor of sports fishing in Belize—ultimately supporting environmentalism, social responsibility, and Belizean youth—but to the Urbina family for being supports themselves, for love of the sport.

Aldo Urbina poses with a hefty Black Grouper AKA Rockfish caught at Lighthouse Reef aboard Fu Di Road.

Errol Cadle and Aldo Urbina came in second with their Dorado which weighed seventeen pounds. They were the only team to represent Orange Walk (2008).

Captain Aldo Urbina can often be seen behind the wheel of 'No Worry Bout Nothin', the winning boat at the 3rd Annual Frenchie's Offshore Open after releasing a Blue Marlin double-header, or ‘Fu D Road’, grandfathering in the next generation of anglers.

A special thank you to A&R Enterprise Ltd. for being a cash sponsor, plus providing banners and more, for the 13th Annual Belikin Blue Water Classic! Join the fun at Old Belize, our #BWC2022 tournament base, this weekend at any of the (free) events for our Tournament Itinerary. And if you’re still looking for any last-minute tournament supplies—think Yeti cups engraved with each angler’s name or an icebox for your on-board Belikins—all you need to look for is the nearest yellow-and-blue building, A&R Enterprise!
